When activity on board is continuous and intensity changes rapidly, a garment is needed that can adapt without interrupting the rhythm. Altura LGT Grid Fleece HZ is designed for this type of use: a lightweight technical layer engineered to actively manage heat and moisture during sailing. The grid fleece fabric with DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment represents the true value of the garment. The compact outer structure provides effective protection against wind and light moisture, while the water-repellent finish enhances resistance to spray and the variable conditions typical of the marine environment. This allows the piece to be used not only as a mid layer, but often also as an outer layer during medium-intensity activities. The internal grid construction creates micro air channels that enable more efficient thermal regulation compared to a traditional fleece. Heat is distributed evenly and excess moisture is expelled quickly, preventing build-up and overheating. The result is a lightweight, breathable and consistently balanced garment, ideal when moving frequently, working in the cockpit or alternating between active phases and more static moments. The short front zip allows immediate adjustment of ventilation, making the garment particularly suitable for manoeuvres and dynamic use.
