SLAM at the 2026 Rolex Swan Cup, 170 Swans gathered in Porto Cervo

Following the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, Porto Cervo welcomes a record fleet to celebrate Nautor Swan’s 60th anniversary. The 23rd Rolex Swan Cup is now in full swing, with SLAM continuing its presence alongside the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda and a dedicated collection available at the SLAM Shop in Piazza Azzurra.

background

Sixty years of Swan in one flee

The 2026 Rolex Swan Cup tells the story of six decades of the Finnish shipyard through a fleet ranging from Tarantella, Swan 36 hull number 001, designed by Sparkman & Stephens in 1966, to the latest Swan 128s Be Cool and Raijin and the new Swan 80 Elvi, all designed by Germán Frers. Between these two ends of the spectrum, Porto Cervo brings together different generations of Swan yachts, from historic models to Maxis, from cruiser racers to the latest One Design boats, offering a unique picture of the evolution of the Finnish shipyard.

From history to competition

The diversity of the fleet is one of the defining features of the Rolex Swan Cup. The ClubSwan 50, 43, 42, 36 and 28classes race in real time, while Swan Maxi, Legacy, Cruiser Racer and Pure Cruising compete under the ORC rating system. The fleet also features some of the best known names in international sailing, including Paul Cayard, Ed Baird, Vasco Vascotto, Guillermo Parada, Flavio Favini and Francesco “Checco” Bruni.

SLAM and Swan, a dedicated collection in Porto Cervo

Following the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup, SLAM continues its presence in Porto Cervo alongside the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda during the Rolex Swan Cup.

At the SLAM Shop in Piazza Azzurra, a selection of Swan customised garments and accessories is available for crews and sailing enthusiasts, designed for both time on the water and life ashore. The collection includes Deck and Tech polo shirts and T shirts, together with technical pieces such as the Crew Sunblock LS 2.0, Altura Light Grid Fleece, Crew Vest and Altura Dock Jacket, as well as Tech Caps, backpacks and WR Sailor Bags, with men’s, women’s and junior styles in Dark Navy, Bright White and Cliff Grey.

A selection that reflects the many different sides of the Swan Cup, from racing to cruising and life on the dock, during a week in which the history and present of Swan sailing come together in the same place.
