Altura Lifejacket 170N is designed for sailors who navigate with awareness and demand absolute reliability from their safety equipment. It is an automatic lifejacket engineered to activate quickly in the event of a man overboard, while maintaining a compact, low-bulk fit during normal sailing. The 170N buoyancy makes it suitable for a wide range of uses, from advanced coastal sailing to offshore navigation. The system is UKCA and CE approved and compliant with the main ISO standards, including requirements for lifejackets, deck harnesses and special application devices, ensuring a comprehensive and cross-functional level of certification. The outer honeycomb ripstop fabric is designed to withstand wear and the harsh marine environment, while the internal neoprene panel at the neck enhances comfort, especially during prolonged use. The construction is developed to reduce bulk and pressure points, allowing full freedom of movement on board. The single crotch strap with a recessed clip minimizes the risk of snagging during maneuvers, increasing passive safety without compromising practicality. The lifejacket is also equipped with a dedicated attachment point for a safety tether, ensuring an effective connection to the boat and improving crew safety on deck.
