Facing the Challenges of Racing

While racing, conditions can change in minutes. The wind picks up, sprays hit, and the temperature drops when you get wet. Technical clothing that doesn’t manage these variables becomes a problem rather than a help. 

 

SLAM Shield 20 technology was created to face these challenges at sea. Gear integrating this technology combine waterproofing up to 20,000 mm, breathability up to 30,000 g/m²/24h, and a water-repellent (DWR) treatment that makes water slide off the garment surface. The addition of stretch fabric ensures full freedom of movement during maneuvers.
