OD Tech Hooded T-Shirt: 3-in-1 Protection for Sailing
×
How often do you have to choose between protection and freedom of movement? Between layering up and keeping your gear lightweight during a race?
The OD Tech Hooded T-Shirt is designed to solve that balance. Built for long hours at sea under intense sun, constant wind and high physical effort, it delivers three levels of protection in a single layer: UV protection, resistance to the elements and thermal comfort—without adding bulk.
At sea, sunlight is more aggressive due to reflection on the water surface. During a race or training session, it's not something you can afford to think about.
The OD Tech Hooded T-Shirt integrates UPF 50+ protection, blocking UV rays. Micro-perforated panels on the sides—where heat and sweat build up—offer UPF 30+ while maintaining breathability.
A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment completes the system, repelling water and wind without adding weight.
The 96 gsm Tech Woven Light Stretch fabric is extremely lightweight and dries quickly. If a wave hits you mid-maneuver, the garment recovers fast—you barely notice it.
The fit is regular, but the fabric stretches naturally: nothing pulls, nothing restricts. You can trim, hoist, rig or hike without interference. At the end of the day, it packs down small and resists wrinkling.
The hood is convertible. Wear it as a neck gaiter in windy conditions, or pull it up to protect your head and neck under strong sun.
A smart rear opening allows long hair to pass through comfortably, without pressure. Nothing to add, nothing to remove. One piece of gear that adapts in real time.
Made from 86% recycled polyester, the OD Tech Hooded T-Shirt maintains full technical performance.

It’s built to last—without feeling heavy. Available in four colors—Greek Blue, Cliff Grey, Hydrangea Pink and Dark Navy—for men, women and kids.
